Project Life Update #2 - August 2012

Here is the last month's worth of Project Life Updates that I have been working on.  I have my DSLR packed, so please excuse the grainy photos. I am using my OLD point and shoot camera and it isn't that great.  But I wanted to kind of "catch up" with my posts while I am at Skyline #10.  I have a to-do list a mile long while I am up there!

Design G Plastics are really rocking my world in this project!  I added extra journaling boxes for the last day of August because I had a longer story to tell. I love that Project Life is so versatile!
How are you doing?  What is your hiccup (if any) with Project Life?  If you haven't started Project Life, what is stopping you?  What is the hold-up?  This has been the easiest and fastest way for me to document "A Year in The Life" of our family.  You really should try it!
I am off to Skyline for my Semi-Annual Scrapbooking Retreat and I still have a bunch to do before I leave, so I am off to get packed and organized!

Until Next Time,
SCRAP ON!

Sound Like You?

Found this on Facebook and laughed my butt off!!!
For you ladies who feel the need to be "caught up", you really need to invest in Project Life!!!
Seriously!  I have an update coming with all my pages that I have done over the summer with pictures.  It has been a really easy album and it is even easier when you keep notes about what you did each day in your agenda!!!!  :)

For those of you who keep track of their scrappy goals for the year 2012, I have hit my goal for 2012 and we are only into August!  Woot! Woot!

Until Next Time,
SCRAP ON!

Are ya FEELING SCRAPPY???

I sure am!

Jayne, the owner of Feeling Scrappy, has decided to bring back the Sketchapalooza classes and I posted about them earlier.  I am completely psyched about it and in my first post about the classes, I forgot to mention that I am on her Design Team for the Sketch class starting June 4th!  I am!  I promise!
I even created a sketch for the class!  Jayne encouraged me to look through my old pages that I hadn't used sketches for and to take a favourite and draw it out!  So, I did!  She liked it!  She liked it!  I am going to try my hand at a couple more too, I think.
Anyway, I am pretty excited about the class.  Afterall, Jayne took a sabbatical from the classes for a little while and took care of family and it is so good to see her back out here doing her thing!  Way to go Jayne!!!
So, are you going to join me and take the class or what?!?!  You know you will love it!  I may have to do a little *Challenge* during the class for a special little package from me!  I think I will do that!!!
Just go to her blog - I linked it on the sidebar of this blog and buy the class!  You won't regret it!
Here are a couple of my layouts from previous classes.  They really are for everyone and some of my very best layouts came from taking these classes!

Seriously, you really should think about it!  I will be there cheering you all on and encouraging you!  See you in Class!
Until Next Time,

SCRAP ON!

Use Your Stash Challenge - January Goals....

I completed 25 traditional layouts, made 12 monogramme cards for Christy for her birthday and an altered letter as well. I also finished the 2 page layout for PART 2 of the Use Your Stash Challenge...
Set the timer for 12 minutes and pick a favourite photo from each month. Use those 12 photos in a layout for 2010. Here is mine: Digitreats is where I downloaded this template. I LOVE her blog and her stuff! I used The Digitreats 14 Picture Template #2....Check her out, she is fabulous!
Until later,

Day 31 of 365 - Page Completion Class

I went to Marta's house tonight to do a page completion class for CTMH. It was a kit that I really liked and it was awesome. I finally met her friend Jody and Jody's friend, Lisa. What a hoot they both are! When I get the pictures stuck down, I will share them with you all!
Until Next Time....

Project 365 Begins....

Hello 2011! Today is 1/1/11....hurry! Make a wish!!!

I wished for more scrapping time in 2011.....what did you wish for?

I got sucked in.....or as they call it...ENABLED.....

Over on ScrapShare, Christy has begun a 365 group and the premise behind this project is to document your life....every aspect, even if it is mundane or boring, by taking a photo each day.
I always said I was easily enabled, but with last year (2010) being such a crappy year for layouts and scrapbooking (for me), I was a little worried about joining this HUGE project.

I only attended 2 retreats last year because I was still nursing Sophie until September and babies and retreats really don't mix very well. Well, let me re-phrase that.....babies and retreats go great! Lots of hands to hold the baby and help when needed. No layouts get done and I had a goal of 365 pages to get done last year....I didn't reach my goal.
This year, I have said I want to do at least 365 layouts, 365 and the Use Your Stash challenge again. So......here it goes.....
I took a pic of Nathan and Sophie on the couch watching Baby Einstein. I am so excited to get this photo with BOTH of them smiling! I love those smiles!!!
Then I got a pic of Ben gaming - playing World of Warcaft with his brother Mike up in Canada. Gotta love the internet!
Until tomorrow.....
Keep Scrappin'!
