SOPHIE REBEKAH Arrived!

Friday October 9th, 2009 at 5am, the cramps began.

By 12:59pm, Sophie Rebekah entered the world via C-Section and she is absolutely perfect!

She was 7 pounds 4 ounces and 20 inches long.

We left the hospital on Sunday and have been home recouperating and learning about each other.....

Baby Bump - Week 27

This is the BUMP....Baby Girl M is getting bigger and I am too. I am at 27 weeks here.

Just thought you all might like to see where I am at right now. I am going on 28 weeks this weekend, but I was dressed up and wanted a pic in my favourite maternity top!

Only 2 1/2 months to go!

Arrival of the Parental Unit....

I am sitting here in my ScrapNook trying to make a list of things I need to do before Mum, Dad, Rosie and Lenny invade this household on Friday. Yes, I am excited that they are coming, but there is a LOT to do to get ready for their arrival. I have been doing a little at a time to get ready, but the big push starts tomorrow!
Seeing as our "guest" bedroom has been made into Baby Girl's room, we had to move the futon in there for Rosie and Lenny to use. The Queen Size bed is sitting in the Dining Room for Mum and Dad to sleep on. They figured it would be better for their friends to have the baby's room because then Nathan can't go in and jump on the bed to wake them up!

After they leave, we will probably just put the Futon back up into a couch and leave it in her room just in case she gets sick during the night and I have to sleep there. Luckily, it is purple in colour and will match the room!

There is a LOT to do to get ready for them to arrive, but today? I will be scrapping and I have one errand to run to pick up kitty litter and food for them!

Baby Belly.....

Ben took this photo on the 12th of June. 2 Days after finding out that we were having a little girl! I am 21 weeks along here and wearing a bathing suit that is NOT a maternity one. No laughing eh? Movement.....and updates....

It has been 22 weeks and I have been feeling movement for a little while. But last night, I was shaving my legs in the bathtub and I actually *SAW* movement. SO COOL!
I have been feeling movement probably since week 15 or 16 on the inside and a couple of weeks ago was the first time Ben was able to actually FEEL it on the outside. So, we could both FEEL it and now, I can SEE it sometimes too!
THIS is what I missed when I gave birth to Nathan. No more little "alien sightings" and feeling it on the inside. I am still having bouts of morning sickness (or should I say "any time of day sickness") and certain foods really make me gag, but all in all, I feel pretty good!

We have trained Nathan for when we get up to Canada that if people ask him if we are having a boy or a girl OR brother or sister...he has to say "I DON'T KNOW!" and he is doing really well with it! So, maybe we really CAN keep it to just a few people knowing!

We have not nailed down any names and I am so afraid to share the names with people because every name we had for a boy was taken after Nathan was born! It just took too long to have another baby and everyone liked the names we had chosen! So, we are not sharing that information.

We did pick out bedding this past weekend and it is ADORABLE!!! Guess what? It's not PINK!!!! It is mainly purple!!! My favourite colour!

Well, I guess I better go - afterall, I am cutting into my nap time by posting this update!

Wordless Wednesday...

One Day!

Tomorrow I will be 34! I will also hopefully know if the baby is a boy or a girl. I am just praying for a healthy little one! I can't wait to see Nathan's face since he will be there with Ben and I. I hope that we can get some serious pictures of him figuring out that there really IS a baby in there!!!

Countdown to Baby Identification!!!

Wednesday June 10th at 10am, we head to the OBGyn to have my 2o week ultrasound.
Here is what we got for Nathan when we did his 20 week ultrasound in April 2004...

I guess we will see what happens and if the baby will cooperate on Wednesday! Every person I know thinks I am having a GIRL, but knowing the Michalski boys and their recipe for BOYS.....I will probably be carrying another boy! So, pray that baby will cooperate and keep it's legs open for us to have a little look-see!

Long time no blog eh?

Life has been taking a front seat at our house instead of being online! Sure, the re-cap of Skyline has taken a while along with the chore of unpacking! Life has been VERY busy!
Nathan has been off this week for Spring Break and we have been doing some activities here in the bonusroom.

After 2 weeks of stuff sitting on the futon and not in their original places, I finally got everything put away from Skyline - one rolling CM tote is left full of stuff. But the rest is back in it's respective place. Yay! Planning for Fall Skyline is DONE with the attendee list full and a waitlist.

I spent one day this week catching up on laundry, another day sweeping and mopping the kitchen and vacuuming the rest of the house. I have a new task that I planned to start today - CLEANING OUT CLOSETS....yuck! This will be the first run to GoodWill for the year though! :)

Now, to just get the rest of the house cleaned, laminate installed in the spare room and Nathan's bedroom and get the rest of the house ready for baby in October. We have a to-do list a mile long!!! Speaking of baby....I am 12 weeks and 2 days along and I am already starting to POOCH out! NOT FUNNY!

My next task other than the closets is to find the layouts I did at Skyline and get them posted! If only I could remember where I put them!!!! Darn pregnancy brain!

There's a HEARTBEAT!!!!

The baby was moving a lot and we didn't get a really good picture....but we saw the flutter of the heartbeat! So.....it's official! I am now 9 weeks and 1 day along and doing well!!! Ben said in the car on the way home from the doctor's office...."it's cool that you are carrying around the newest member of our family".
