Friday Fill-ins....Feb. 17, 2012

Friday February 17th Edition

1. Finally, I helped Nathan finish his project last night and we can say goodbye to the Harlem Renaissance until NEXT Black History month. This project was not fun!  I had to fight Nathan through the entire project because he really didn't want to do it.  It was a pain in the butt!  HE was a pain in the butt!
2. Calorie counting and watching what I eat sure takes some getting used to.
3. Dad says: he seems to be doing well with his radiation treatments (so far).
4. Wiggle-Butt is my favourite nickname for Molson because he wiggles with excitement when I get home - whether I have been gone for an hour or just five minutes. It is so cute!

5. It took a long time but I was able to help Dawn put together backup disks for her laptop so that we can format it and start from scratch.  It is one of those things that needs to be done because her computer is SO SLOW!!!!
6. Being down here and the friends I have made has been amazing. I cherish these relationships, though I wouldn't have it any other way.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight, I am looking forward to seeing Marta and Brent tonight and maybe, if there is time, seeing my scrappy gals afterwards, tomorrow my plans include hopefully vegging out and relaxing with the family while the laundry gets washed and Sunday, I want to work on organizing my photos into a power layout for the Skyline retreat (this is going to take forever!!!).


There you have it!  My first Friday Fill-Ins for 2012.  I probably won't do a lot of these but I think they are great for "slice of life stuff" for my scrapbooks.  That is the best thing about blogging, I can use it for telling the stories in my scrapbooks!!!  Gotta love it!

Fill Ins

1. I was hoping to sell the house by the end of this month.
2. I had the best bubblebath today and I left my book out in my bedroom instead of bringing it with me.
3. Why do people not understand that they can change the colours of the walls when they go through a house that is on the market?
4. My Grandma Embro was in my thoughts today.
5. One of my father's favorite sayings was when he called me "Darling Shitley heels".
6. Frustration with house showings--I know that feeling!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to getting some laundry done, tomorrow my plans include bible study, swimming, relaxing with the family and Sunday, I want to head to church and relax the rest of the day!

Friday Fill-ins - April 16th Edition

1. I'd like to win the lottery.
2. One of my most favorite romantic memories is Ben baking me a heart-shaped cake.
3. Last night, I had chicken and rice for dinner.
4. Sorry for the scatterbrained thoughts...I have a 6-month old and my brain just isn't like it used to be .
5. Can we take a nap now?
6. One of my worst temptations is scrapbooking retreats; they are so hard to resist!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to putting Sophie to bed so I can finish unpacking, tomorrow my plans include Bible study for our mom's group, lunch with Tia and a nice afternoon nap, and Sunday, I want to go to church, spend the afternoon taking a nap and having a nice dinner with my family !

Friday Fill Ins - October 2, 2009

1. I have a history of being too rigid about things - kinda OCD if you will.....
2. Sewing is something I wish I knew how to do.
3. I'm eating (or recently ate) Hot Tamales Candy and I am sure the heartburn will follow, but man they were good!
4. Snacks, good music and conversation is needed when on the road.
5. So that's it, that's how you use a template in PSE 6.0? Wow!
6. Something is better than nothing!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to getting to bed early because I have a lot to do this weekend, tomorrow my plans include caring for a little man with a fever, attending a breastfeeding class at the hospital and hanging out with Nathan while Ben plays poker with the guys and Sunday, I want to hopefully say that the little man is feeling better, go to church and hang out with Ben and Nathan.

Friday Fill-Ins - August 21st 2009

1. I remember, I remember MY WEDDING DAY LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY. HOW I FELT, HOW BEN LOOKED AS I WALKED DOWN THE AISLE TO HIM AND HOW AWESOME OUR LIFE TOGETHER HAS BEEN SINCE THEN (EVEN WITH THE UPS AND DOWNS, IT HAS BEEN AWESOME).

2. Dear BEN I want you to know THAT I LOVE YOU WITH EVERYTHING I HAVE AND WILL GO WHEREVER YOU GO NO MATTER WHAT.

3. Is that my BABY BOY NATHAN, ALL GROWN UP!!???

4. I'm trying to resist the temptation of EATING JUNK DURING THIS PREGNANCY AND MAKING SURE I DON'T GAIN TOO MUCH WEIGHT...AFTERALL, I HAVE TO LOSE THE WEIGHT WHEN THIS LITTLE GIRL IS BORN.

5. I'm saving a SMILE just for you!

6. If I made a birthday list A CANON DIGITAL REBEL SLR CAMERA would definitely be on it!!!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to HANGING OUT WITH NATHAN AND BEN MAYBE PLAYING OUR WII OR SWIMMING IN THE BACKYARD POOL, tomorrow my plans include GOING THROUGH SOME PHOTOS FOR THE SKYLINE RETREAT AND SPENDING TIME WITH BEN AND NATHAN and Sunday, I want to GO TO CHURCH, START PACKING FOR SKYLINE AND HOPEFULLY FINISH PICKING THE PAPERS FOR MY LAYOUTS THAT I WILL WORK ON AT SKYLINE.!

Friday Fill-Ins - July 3rd Edition.....

Happy Friday!Here we go with FRIDAY FILL-INS! My answers in BOLD....

1. When I heard Farrah Fawcett died! I was shocked!

2. Laughter is the best medicine.

3. It's late, but I still can't put this book down (what I thought at 12am this morning in bed).

4. I will love my husband, BEN, always.

5. My eyes have seen too much sometimes!

6. There are some things that I disagree with strongly.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I am looking forward to spending time with my boys in the pool and eating hamburgers off the bbq, tomorrow my plans include washing the futon cover, celebrating July 4th and maybe taking some much needed "CYN TIME", and Sunday, I want to attend church and spend the day by the pool relaxing with Ben and Nathan.

Friday Fill-Ins - June 25th

1. She had a great time in Canada without the pressures of seeing "everyone" because it was such a short trip. It was relaxing for once!!! We should do that more often!

2. BEN is by my side, always. No matter what, I know that I can count on Ben to be there for me. He is my ROCK and my SHOULDER to lean on.

3. I know this: I am loved.
